JBT industrial finisher in stainless steel, designed for the continuous refining of pulps, purees, and food products, allowing the separation of the usable fraction from peels, seeds, coarse fibers, and other undesired solids.

This type of equipment is typically used after crushing, extraction, or preheating operations to obtain a product with a finer and more homogeneous texture before subsequent stages of concentration, heat treatment, or packaging.

The system operates using an internal rotor and a perforated sieve or screen, performing continuous mechanical separation between the refined product and solid waste.

PROCESS

The product, previously crushed or processed, enters the JBT finisher continuously.

Inside, the rotor drives the product against a perforated refining surface. The pulp, puree, or liquid fraction that meets the required size passes through the screen, while larger particles remain retained and are conveyed to a separate discharge.

This process allows operations such as:

Refining of pulps and purees
Separation of peels and seeds
Removal of coarse fibers
Reduction of undesired solids
Homogenization of the texture
Preparation of product before concentration
Pre-treatment prior to aseptic sterilization
