Two combined milling machines in a heavy-duty design with adjustable tables as workpiece supports, guided by a stable combined ball bearing and roller guide. Each milling machine is equipped
with a clamping station, the trimming unit, and the milling unit. Either the second milling machine or both milling machines are equipped with a glue application system. The milling machines can be equipped with a scoring saw.
Belts between the milling machines minimize package transport times, thus achieving a fast throughput.
A pneumatic vibrating device in the clamping station ensures even alignment of the wood. Horizontal and vertical pressure devices clamp the package. The trimming unit is used to cut a reference edge on
the workpiece. This reference edge determines the length of the respective dovetail tenon profile and can be adjusted. The dovetailing is carried out by the milling unit, followed by glue application via a side jet or roller applicator.

Transfer station designed in a robust welded construction with an infeed belt, alignment stop, cross-feed unit, turning device with turning brush, and an outfeed belt, as well as adjustment devices for optimal adaptation to
different wood dimensions.
The packages of workpieces, which have been milled, are transferred from the milling table of the dovetail tenon milling machine to the conveyor belt of the transfer station and aligned flush with a stop. The aligned wood package is moved transversely to the infeed direction into the area of the turning device by the cross-feed unit. The separation of the wood package is carried out either directly onto the outfeed belt or by turning it 90 degrees and aligning it with a fixed edge. The discharge edge can be adjusted to the wood dimension. The separated wood is transported to the infeed station via a fast-moving conveyor belt.
