These ready-to-use vision systems provide reliable quality control for the entire ongoing production process.
Furthermore, continuous monitoring of the production process allows for timely corrective measures to be taken in the event of process deviations.
In the production of crystalline silicon solar modules, textured glass substrates are used instead of uncoated glass.
Textured glass increases the transmission of sunlight. The optical signals in the vision system, triggered by the surface structure typically used for glass substrates in silicon solar modules, are often similar to or even stronger than those of the actual defect being inspected.
