This is a horizontally constructed machine designed for the continuous thermal processing of bulk and granular materials. The machine utilizes the principle of fluidization. The process involves blowing hot (or cold) air through a perforated base holding the raw material. The air lifts the material particles, forming a so-called "fluidized bed." In this state, each particle is surrounded on all sides by the heating/cooling medium, providing:
- Instant heat exchange (significantly faster than drum dryers)
- Uniform drying with no risk of localized overheating
- Gentle product handling – minimal risk of mechanical damage to raw materials
