New RB-2000 Conveyor Blast System

Description:

The RB-2000 conveyor blast system from ABRAZIV Kft. was developed for the economical surface treatment of steel sheets, profiles, tubes, and welded structures and is ideally suited for descaling, derusting, cleaning, and roughening steel surfaces.

The system is manufactured to order and can be individually configured according to the customer's requirements.

With a passage width of 2,000 mm and a workpiece height of up to 650 mm, the RB-2000 is particularly suitable for large and heavy workpieces. It offers maximum flexibility for demanding applications in steel construction, mechanical engineering, tank construction, and the metalworking industry.

The RB-2000 is equipped with four high-performance ABR-500 blast turbines. Two turbines are arranged above and two below the conveyor, ensuring optimal coverage of the cross-section and a uniform blasting result.

The inner surfaces of the blasting chamber are lined with highly wear-resistant manganese steel. Other areas are protected by wear-resistant rubber, which simultaneously reduces noise levels.

A closed blasting media circuit with a screw conveyor, bucket elevator, blasting media cleaning, and dosing system ensures reliable and economical operation.

All functions of the system are operated via a central control unit. In addition to automatic operation, a manual mode is also available for maintenance work.
