EURO-Jabelmann Maschinenbau GmbH

The company EURO-Jabelmann in Itterbeck celebrates its 27th anniversary in May 2021.

The company was founded under the name EURO-Landmaschinen in May 1994. For the first two years, operations were conducted from a 100 m² leased section of a hall in Uelsen.

In 1996, a warehouse with two office rooms was constructed on Wilsumer Straße in Itterbeck. At that time, in addition to Mr. Veurink, there was one employee.

Agricultural machinery was imported from Poland and sold to dealers, agricultural contractors, and end customers alike.

In 2002, the product range was expanded with the assortment of the leading Polish agricultural machinery manufacturer UNIA. The number of employees steadily increased.

In January 2003, the rights of the company ALF-Jabelmann in Uelzen were acquired through a usage and transfer agreement. The company Jabelmann was very well-known in the field of potato technology. For this reason, a name change to EURO-Jabelmann took place.

In 2004, the manufacturing, distribution, and trade of potato technology was taken over from the company Albers in Twist.

A year later, due to a lack of space, another property was purchased on Wilsumer Straße.

In 2007, administrative staff was further increased, resulting in a shortage of space, and the administration was relocated to another building.

In the same year, the product line was expanded to include the range of agricultural vehicles and trailers from the Polish manufacturer PRONAR.

As the company continued to grow and space became tight, another property was acquired in 2008 on Wilsumer Straße. Over time, two further halls were added to the existing building at this location.

Also in 2008, the subsidiary BVS Maschinenbau GmbH was founded, where we now manufacture a comprehensive range of machinery for processing potatoes and onions.

In 2009, a large exhibition area was established on the property acquired the previous year.

In 2013, the spare parts warehouse was relocated to a different building as the existing facility had become too small.

In 2014, another adjacent property on Wilsumer Straße was acquired.

In 2014, sales of slurry separators also began.

In conjunction with the Tarmstedt Exhibition 2015, EURO-Jabelmann delivered its 2,000th vehicle—a PRONAR bale wagon with portal doors for load securing—to agricultural contractor Michael Piening from Adelheidsdorf near Celle.

In 2015, the company EURO-Jabelmann had 15 employees, while the sister company BVS Maschinenbau GmbH employed an additional 22 people.

At the end of September 2017, construction of the new administration building began, which was occupied at the beginning of August 2018.

In summer 2018, EURO-Jabelmann Veurink GmbH and BVS Maschinenbau GmbH were merged, and at the same time, the company was renamed to EURO-JABELMANN Maschinenbau GmbH.

At that point, around 45 people were employed by the entire company.

On March 1, 2019, the sorting screen manufacturing and crankshaft production were taken over from ISI-Dehne in Halberstadt, which had ceased operations due to retirement.

In March 2019, construction began on a production hall of approximately 3,500 m² for the mechanical engineering sector, with occupancy scheduled for summer.

The move into the new production hall occurred during the Corona crisis in April/May 2020 and, despite all restrictions caused by the pandemic, was successfully and smoothly completed.

As of July 2021, approximately 49 people are employed by the company.
